Ed Gonzalez is well known as an innovator and pioneer in providing high quality call center services to dozens of leading Health Plans and National Associations, in English as well as Spanish. Over the past 25 years, during Ed’s career as CEO of MarCom Technologies, and CEO of GMS CONNECT, Ed has employed more than 39,000 call center representatives including more than 1,000 insurance agents, hundreds of account supervisors, dozens of script writers, trainers, quality control teams and call center managers. Most of the management team at GMS CONNECT have worked with Ed for more than 18 years.
Jeff brings over over 30 years of experience in IT and operations management, working in different industries including; medical billing insurance and manufacturing industries. Jeff’s track record as an outstanding Operational leader, building teleservices company Marcom Technologies as their CIO and ultimately COO of GMS Connect .Jeff attended The University of Central Florida majoring in Computer Science. Jeff’s mission as a member of the GMS Connect team is to offer our clients the best possible experience and the most personal connection and customized solutions in the service industry.
Larry has over 39 years of finance and accounting experience. Larry joined GMS in 2009 after working with Ed Gonzalez at MarCom Technologies for almost nine years as Chief Financial Officer. At MarCom Technologies, Larry played a major role in growing MarCom from a local startup to become one of America’s Top Ten call center operations generating $75million in Annual Revenue. Prior to MarCom, Larry was the Controller for Insight Technologies Corporation, a company providing fee-based enhancement products to the credit card industry, where he served as Controller. Larry is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University where he received a B.S. in Finance and Accounting.
David is an industry pioneer with more than 25 years of experience and success building and running large scale call center operations, client acquisition and high-level business development. David and the management team at GMS have worked together since 1992. David’s involvement in hundreds of projects for dozens of well-known Fortune 1000 companies such as AT&T, CITIBANK, AMERICAN EXPRESS, HUMANA, CIGNA, COVENTRY HEALTH among many others, generated billions of dollars in revenue, many awards, and repeat business from satisfied clients. As the Director of Business Development for MarCom Technologies beginning in 1995, David piloted the growth of the business over a nine-year period to become one of the industry’s most well-known teleservices outsourcing providers. David generated $75 million in sales and boasted a roster of the most prestigious “brand name” direct marketing organizations in America.
Rich is the Senior Account Manager for Association Marketing Services. Having totally dedicated his career to the call center industry working with Ed Gonzalez since 1996, Rich has a unique understanding and knowledge of the teleservices business inside and out from a global perspective. Rich has extensive experience with off-shore operations, ranging from initial concept to government licensing all the way to building and managing a fully operational off-shore call center. He is also active in the local community, offering his managerial skills while serving on the Board of Directors of the Broward Community and Family Health Centers.
Jennifer holds the role of Business Controller at GMS Connect. She is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business including billing, receivables, cost management, and payroll. She also oversees our HR and compliance departments and leads internal process improvement initiatives that help keep our operations flexible and efficient in our dynamic workspace. She is a charismatic professional specializing in process and workforce management with vast knowledge and competencies the areas of implementation methodologies, processes & controls, reporting metrics, and workforce management.
Austin coordinates, and leads the GMS Connect team in all aspects of quality assurance, data analysis, and maximizing production. Austin manages key client projects and his responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. He oversees all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Austin is most fulfilled when helping grow programs and delivering excellent results to GMS Connect’s clients. His vision and ability to nurture relationships leads to long-term solutions and success for our clients.
